Place three to four white paper napkins on top of one another then wet them with undiluted ammonia so they re wet but not dripping. Sprinkle white powdered chalk over the entire top of the napkin in a layer about a half inch thick. For minor paint stains you can use lacquer thinner to remove them. A marble poultice is used to draw stains out of marble surfaces.

You can also use corn starch especially on grease stains hydrogen peroxide pads on lighter stones or rubbing alcohol spray to remove stains from marble but applying marble poultice is your most efficient option. Draw out the stain from your marble countertop using a poultice. Use coasters and mats on marble countertops to protect them from glasses and appliances step 2 clean marble frequently. The process may need to be repeated but no special considerations are needed for stain removal via marble poultice for ink stains.

Don t set sharp edged objects directly on marble. Step 1 protect marble from scratches. Ink stains can be removed with a marble poultice made with a solvent of 6 hydrogen peroxide or ammonia. As with organic stains you can use a poultice made with 6 percent hydrogen peroxide to remove any ink stains.

Like many other stains that are common on marble you can remove etch marks using a poultice. See below for marble poultice process. You can wet stand the stain on that cultured marble sink sure but then you ll remove the finish and end up with a bare spot.
