This manual release handle disengages the trolley from the attachment point to the rail.

Manually move the garage door and return to down position.
This disengages the electric drive from the door and you can manually open and close it.
Pull the emergency release cord toward the door.
Once you are done maneuvering your garage door and are ready to re engage the automatic door opener please return the garage door back to the down position.

Pull the red cord down firmly once to manually release the door s locking mechanism the opener will make a clicking noise.
Do not try to pull the door using the manual release cord.
Walk over to the door to push it up manually.
